The book, called The Star Wars Rings The Hidden Structure Behind the Story, was written by Star Wars fan Tomas Pueyo. Pueyo told the Daily. Mail. com that he first became interested in Star Wars when his father snuck him out of school to watch a screening of Star Wars A New Hope. I saw this amazing movie and obviously I watched all the movies and every kid wants to be like Luke right Fighting for the good guys against the bad guys, Pueyo said. Pueyos book describes the narrative patterns of Star Wars, and how understanding them can help predict what happens in the next movie, The Last Jedi, which will be released on December 1. Pueyo says that they key to figuring out what will happen in the next Star Wars movies is an ancient storytelling tool called Ring Theory. Most stories follow the same rules a situation, a challenge and a hero starting their journey. PREDICTIONS FOR THE NEXT STAR WARS MOVIE  Rey leaves Lukes planet The middle movie of every trilogy is important because theres an inflection point. Watch Patrick Hindi Full Movie. For example, in episode 2, Anakins mother dies, and in episode 5, Luke is confronted with a vision of his own face behind Darth Vaders helmet an indication of what would happen if he turned to the Dark Side. We know something like that will happen with Rey, something will shock her, probably linked to her parents, it might lead to strain between her and Luke. Rey loses a limb Limb cutting happens all the time in all the Star Wars movies, but in the second movie of each trilogy, limbs are cut from ring characters. For example, at the end of episode 2, Anakin loses his hand to Count Dooku, and at the end of episode 5, Luke loses his forearm to Darth Vader. Its a pattern now, so its possible Rey will lose a limb by the end of The Last Jedi. Luke may be tempted by dark side Based on the trailer for The Last Jedi, when Luke says The Jedi must end, it seems that Like is no longer a whole hearted defender of light. Theres another point from the poster, both Kylo Ren and Luke are red faced, and thats the color of the dark side, and their faces together form a single face, broken by a ray of blue light from Reys lightsaber. Kylo and Rey are twins Theres speculation that Luke, Obi Wan or even Han Solo could be Reys father, and its possible Leia is her mother. This would mean that Kylo Ren and Rey are twins, like Luke and Leia before them, and these twins represent light and darkness. It would also be a surprise, like the revelation that Darth Vader was Lukes father. Rey falls into a trap In Star Wars episode 2, the separatists prepare to betray the Republic in the planet of Geonosis. Watch The Reaping Tube Free there. Obi Wan discovers the plan, and Anakin goes there to rescue a friend. In episode 5, Han Solo, Leia, Chewbacca and C 3. PO fall into a trap organized by Darth Vader. So in episode 8, its possible that Rey will try to rescue her friends, including Finn, in a new city called Canto Bight. There arent many variations in the journeys, and it usually involves a hero going up, then down, before resolving the conflict. For example, In Star Wars episode 4, Luke Skywalker is a poor boy in a desert with great skills with robots and driving, and he becomes a Jedi, but in episode 5 hes tempted by the dark side because of the fear of losing his father Darth Vader, and in episode 6, Luke chooses the light side and finally destroys the Death Star. What Ring Theory says is that this structure is followed not only across a single movie, but also across scenes, characters and even trilogies. Another prediction for the next Star Wars movie is that Rey will lose a limb. In the second movie of each trilogy, limbs are cut. For example, at the end of episode 2, Anakin loses his hand to Count Dooku, and at the end of episode 5, Luke loses his forearm pictured to Darth Vader. For example, in Star Wars episode 1, Anakin Skywalker also starts as a poor young boy in a desert planet with great skills with robots, driving and lightsabers, and he becomes also Jedi. In episode 2, Anakin becomes tempted by the dark side because of the fear of losing his loved ones his mother and Padme, and then in episode 3, when confronted with choosing between the light side and the dark side, he chooses the dark side. In episode 7, Rey, just like Anakin and Luke, starts off as a poor young girl in a desert with great robot repair and driving skills. So, Lukes ring in the original trilogy mirrors Anakins in the Star Wars film prequels, and it may mirror Reys ring too. For the next Star Wars movie, The Last Jedi,  Rey left may leave Lukes right planet. Watch My Greatest Escape Streaming here. The middle movie of every trilogy is important because theres an inflection point, says Pueyo, the author of The Star Wars Rings The Hidden Structure Behind the Story. In both of the second movies in the Star Wars trilogies, the mentor and mentee disagree. So in episode 8, Rey may have an argument with Luke and leave his planet. Pictured are Luke and Rey at the end of Star Wars The Force Awakens. Star Wars Ring Structure has also been written about by Mike Klimo in an extensive online essay. For the next Star Wars movie, Pueyo predicts based on ring structure that Rey will leave Lukes planet, where they met in episode 7. The middle movie of every trilogy is important because theres an inflection point, says Pueyo. A new book called That Star Wars Rings The Hidden Structure Behind the Story, explains that by analyzing the previous films narrative structure, you can predict what will happen in the next movies. The book, which launches on September 1. Kindle and paperback. WHAT IS RING THEORY Ring theory, or ring structure, is an ancient literary technique of motifs that follows a symmetrical pattern. In Star Wars episode 1, Anakin Skywalker also starts as a poor young boy in a desert planet with great skills with robots, driving and lightsabers, and he becomes also Jedi. In episode 2, Anakin becomes tempted by the dark side because of the fear of losing his loved ones his mother and Padme, and then in episode 3, when confronted with choosing between the light side and the dark side, he chooses the dark side. Anakins arc through Episodes 1 to 3 mirrors Lukes arc through Episodes 4 to 6.
